Opera company shall NOT remain nameless!
Thank you all for attending our SOLD-OUT performances of “The Face on the Barroom Floor” over the Memorial Day Weekend. Check here for the review in the Albany Times Union. I hope you will all bear with us while we change our name again! They say “its all in a name” so here we go. Hudson Chamber Opera (aka Hudson Opera Theatre) is about to become DIAMOND OPERA THEATER. Hopefully we’ve got it right this time. In short, the change will clear up confusion with other organizations that have a similar name, as well as give us a little pizzazz! We will have an exciting 2006-2007 Season to announce shortly. For updates visit: www.hudsonchamberopera.org.

PS/21 opened July 2, 2006, under a tent
PS/21 (Performance Spaces for the 21st Century) opened under a tent on July 2 at 4pm with Kelley Love’s Pandemonia Orchestra. Singer Nina Fine (of Hudson Chamber Opera fame) was the featured soloist. An enthusiastic audience ventured out in between thunderstorms to enjoy the concert. For information about other events at PS21, please visit: www.ps21chatham.org

Bring your voice and join other choral enthusiasts in singing these masterworks of Faure, Bach and Brahms. The evening begins with a vocal warmup by Mary Hack and a brief rehearsal of difficult sections led by Ms. Gould. Ms Hack will also help with vocal techniques to execute vocally challenging excerpts. Sections will have the opportunity to sing the most popular solos as part of the rehearsal. After the break, the work will be performed in its entirety with professional soloists.
Check back here at www.gwengould.com for updates or visit www.PS21Chatham.org for directions and information about PS21.
