BRIAN CHENEY is fast becoming one of the most sought after up and coming tenors of his generation. This thrilling young tenor is becoming increasingly known for his interpretation of operatic roles ranging from Rodolfo in LA BOHEME, the Duke in RIGOLETTO, Edgardo in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, Nemorino in L’ELISIR D’AMORE to Ferrando in COSI FAN TUTTE and Tamino in DIE ZAUBERFLOTE. He has also embraced 20th Century and American operas such as Stravinsky’s THE RAKE’S PROGRESS and Janacek’s JENUFA to creating roles in world premiere productions such as Gershon Kingley’s powerful opera RAOUL.

No stranger to Operetta, Brian has performed numerous roles such as Karl Franz in THE STUDENT PRINCE, Camille and Danilo in THE MERRY WIDOW, Nanki Poo in THE MIKADO, Frederic in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. PINAFORE to name a few.
